- Serverless doesn’t mean that servers do not exist. Servers will exist and are managed by cloud service provider but we won’t have access to them.
- The selected function or any specified piece of code will run and it will be billed on the basis of time of execution (in the order of milli seconds).
- Serverless features are extremely cost effective because we don’t pay for the servers at all.
- AWS provides many serverless computing services such as AWS Lambda, AWS Athena, AWS DynamoDB etc…
