AWS S3 Lifecycle

We can set up a rule or policy called S3 Lifecycle in which we can automate the transition of data from one storage class to another, depending upon time.

e.g. 

• After 30 days of time, transfer to IA.
• After 360 days of time, transfer to Glacier.

Using the lifecycle policies of S3, we can automate the transfer between storage classes and save unnecessary costs in AWS.
